Hey how are you doing today?

Nowadays fashion trends change almost over the night. From nude tones to bright colors, from boho dresses to crop shirts. But one thing that hasn't changed yet is the fact that women still use tons of accessories to give their outfits a little glow up. Throughout the last few years the most modern things are earrings, multiple necklaces and rings. It sounds simple and chic. Well it does, as long as you can get your head on all this stuff without any trouble.

For me things got complicated as soon as I hit my puberty. As a child I didn't get to have earrings since my parents believe I will decided to have them or not once I am older. But at the age of 10 I started to develop acnes on my earlobes. So I postponed my plan to get earrings for a few years. And then I got diagnosed with atopic dermatitis (you can read more about that here). My dermatitis quickly spread on my ears as well and do to my condition resulting in open wounds many times the risk of infection of my earring holes was to big to get it done.

Let me note here that this was my personal experience. Atopic dermatitis does not necessarily means you won't be able to get your ears pierced. This is a topic that must be discussed with a dermatologist. When it comes to health conditions please do not listen to sales ladies in store who would do your ear holes for you. They are not health professionals by any means and can cost you a very bad infection or ear injury if you are suffering by condition that might be triggered even more by ear piercing procedure.

Back to my story. I loved the appearance of earrings since for ever. And I wasn't ready to just give it up. So I started exploring options. On the end of the day I ended up with two, that seemed most legit ones. Ear tattoos or clip on earrings. If you read the title you already know what made my interest pick.

Even though I started my options-exploring at the age of 13 I purchased my first pair of clip on when I was 19. They were beautiful silver middle size hops. I got them from my friend who at the time was doing an economical class assignment and was developing a decent clip on earrings (as you can imagine we both share are love for those). The quality of handmade earrings from a goldsmiths was simply amazing. And it gave me confidence to order myself more of those.

Naturally my first stop on this shopping journey was Amazon. As much as I always referred to it as "they have all you need" I ended up being really disappointed. Very few sets of clip on earrings were sold, and none to my liking. I was almost committed to order one set that had 2 pairs of earrings I liked, when I discovered that clip on earrings are also sold on Shein. And not just a few pairs but a bunch of them. In all sizes and shapes. The prices for them were also very affordable ones (keep in mind that Shein is a lower quality online store, they don't sell real gold or silver earrings). I fell in love with multiple pairs and made decision to order a few of them. And to this day I am so glad I did. Despite earings being mostly made of copper and aluminium, two years in they still look amaizing.

I am going to link a few of the ones that I love the most in case this is something you are looking to purchase on your own or as a gift for someone else.

And till the next time, see ya later alligator <3!
